Gaston Country Club offers a variety of venues for your enjoyment. Dinner with the family, a casual lunch after golf, a family holiday gather or a special, casual terrace dining, and formal occasion are all accommodated. Every meal presented will be delicious, beautifully presented and served with great care. Our quality driven culinary and service staff take great pride in your enjoyment of each visit to the club. The Ballroom and Formal Dining Room are the sites for large functions and member events. The Maples Grill and Gray Dining Room are our Club dining venues. The Men’s Lounge is an ideal place to unwind over lunch or cocktails after a game or while catching play on the big screen. The Ladies' Locker Room can host small groups of card players. The poolside snack bar at our swim complex is always hopping during the summer months.

The Maples Grill

The Maples Grill is the most popular spot to dine. Named for Ellis Maples, our golf course designer, this 50 seat dining room offers a casual family atmosphere and serves both lunch and dinner. The Grill is a perfect place to visit after a challenging game of golf, a day on the tennis courts or to gather with family and friends. Enjoy the spectacular sunset with magnificent views of the golf course from inside or on the outside patio for cocktails or dining. Catch your favorite sporting event on one of our high definition large screen televisions.

The Gray Dining Room

Named after our Club's founding president, this dining room is the focal point of our evening dining. Here you will find an upscale dining atmosphere on select evenings of the week and during Sunday Brunch. With spectacular views of the golf course, this dining room offers an elegant setting for a weekend anniversary dinner or for a Sunday family lunch after church.

Gaston Country Club is the place to be for tennis players in Gaston and surrounding counties. We offer private and group instruction along with organized opportunities for youth and adults of all levels in a friendly club atmosphere. Club members receive discounted rates throughout the year for any type of instruction. Members are able to book open court time at their convenience and receive a discount on all pro shop merchandise.

Our professional staff is lead by our Director of Racquet Sports, Kevin Isenhour. Overall, the Club's tennis staff has the highest level of certifications with the USPTA and PTR. With over 50 years of combined teaching experience...Whether you are a first-time player or a high-level tournament player, we can help take your game to the next level. Year round junior and adult clinics are offered by our staff to help meet your goals.

The Club's tennis facility has six superbly maintained Har-Tru clay courts, four U.S. Open color formatted hard courts, 2 pickleball courts, 2 backboards and two state of the art Playmate ball machines. All are courts are lit and available for nighttime play.

Pool

On the sunniest summer days, you will always find a breeze at Gaston Country Club's Olympic size pool overlooking our golf course and tennis courts. Our pool provides a double loop slide, diving area and a gated kiddy pool with an mushroom splash pad. Shaded tables are available for those who wish to enjoy the outdoors but stay out of the sun. The bathhouses include lockers, showers and a dressing area. Children and adults of all ages enjoy a variety of programs and activities, from swim team to summertime luaus. Poolside salads, wraps, sandwiches and more are available, as well as a weekend tiki bar offering cocktail specials throughout the summer. An air conditioned indoor dining room is conveniently located at the pool, available for private events such as birthday parties, or just to cool off from the sun's rays.

Fitness

Members can take advantage of complimentary group classes including all-levels yoga and weights & stretching. During the summer months, we also offer water aerobics and lap swimming.
